The civic revolt against the government and the entire political class has continued into its 46th day, while from the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office there has been no shortage of accusations and strong messages addressed to the government and the opposition.
One of the protesters mocked the majority's efforts to control the public debate, also addressing Socialist MP Erion Braçe.
" Erion Braçe, you are protected by Edi Rama and the patronageists. Why haven't you been held accountable for that illegal patronageist office in Unit 5? You can lower the algorithm as much as you want, but the algorithm is the people here in the square ," he declared.
The protester further warned that, according to him, the prime minister's departure will also mark the end for the structures that he described as patronizing.
" The day we overthrow Rama, you must find a new job, because Rama will no longer have money to give you soufflés! Edi Rama, either overthrow or surrender !" said the citizen.
Another protester leveled strong accusations not only at Prime Minister Edi Rama, but also at the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, holding both of them responsible for the situation in the country.
" Rama does not deserve to be called prime minister, he is a scoundrel! But next to him is the nation's scoundrel, Sali Berisha! They are not in the service of the people. They have committed crimes and theft !" he declared.
Continuing his speech, the protester emphasized that state institutions belong to citizens and not politicians.
" The Prime Minister's Office is not private property, it belongs to the people! The Prime Minister's Office, the parliament or the ministries are not anyone's property, but the people's! The people will punish these people! The big and the small are demanding their resignation! They have offended an entire people and have eaten their blood !" said the protester.
