The structures of the Tax Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture have continued the action to formalize and improve food safety in the agricultural and livestock products market.
Through an announcement on social media, the General Tax Directorate informed that in three days of action, 87 facilities were inspected and 20 tons of goods were blocked.
" The action to formalize and improve food safety in the agricultural and livestock products market continues with intensity, by the structures of the Tax Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The results of the first 3 days clearly show the need for the full formalization of this sector, as a guarantee for quality, food safety and consumer protection."
"We invite all taxpayers to implement the law by issuing fiscal invoices at every link in the food chain, to ensure traceability and transparency from producer to consumer," the General Tax Directorate said in a statement.
