Almeria's afternoon training session opened with a moment of great fear. As reported by "Marca", Ibrahima Kone suddenly fell to the ground, causing great concern to his teammates and technical staff.
According to the Spanish newspaper, it is not the first time that the attacker from Mali has been the victim of a similar episode: it already happened a few weeks ago, in Marbella, but not during a training session. The tests in that case were carried out immediately and no problems were found.
This time the player was immediately taken to hospital and the staff decided to end the session, the last before he heads to Tenerife to face Oskar Cano's side in the second week of the Second Division championship in Spain.
The former Lorient center forward (13 goals in 19 games for his national team) was not called up for his league debut because he is one of the squad members who could be sold in the coming days.
Further investigations are currently being carried out and the club will not make any statement on the matter until the situation is clarified and a medical report is available.
