The Albanian national team returned home from the Gibraltar transfer on Friday evening and this Saturday held their next training session at the "House of Football", as part of preparations for the match against Latvia.
The team led by coach Silvinjo carried out physical exercises and technical schemes with the training session that lasted for more than 1 hour between the gym and the field. The group was complete, except for Myrto Uzun, who trained separately, due to a thigh problem, which is being monitored by the medical staff and which according to preliminary analyses is not serious.
On Sunday, the team will train again at the “House of Football” at 17:00 with the first 15 minutes open to the media. On September 9, the national team will host Latvia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which will take place at the “Air Albania” stadium and kicks off at 20:45.
Tickets for the official match of the Rossoneri in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers can be purchased online at ebileta.al as well as at the physical ticket office located at the central entrance of the "Air Albania" stadium in Tirana (open every day from 10:00 to 18:00).
Albania ranks 3rd in Group K, with 5 points accumulated.
