The case is becoming more and more sensitive, the Mainz star arrested for sexual

This case is becoming more and more sensitive!

Mainz star Kaishu Sano, 23, has been in custody in Tokyo since the night of July 14. He is accused of sexual assault on a 30-year-old woman.

He was with his friends Taiki Yamamoto and Hayato Takeuchi, both 20 years old. There has been no new status for days and there is still no official statement from the police.

And yet the situation for Sano seems to be getting more and more precarious. Because now the correspondent of ARD, Andreas Shmid, confirms that the star of Mainz has accepted this crime!

" We hear from different sources that Sano is said to have confessed to the crime ," confirms Shmid in "SWR".

Sano, Yamamoto, Takeuchi and the alleged victim first had a meal in the tourist district of Ropongi and then reportedly drove to a hotel in Tokyo's Jushima Ward, about 20 minutes away. It is said that the crime took place there.

" The alleged victim probably stated in the record that in the hotel room she was no longer able to freely express her will, possibly influenced by the use of alcohol or drugs ."

" The two men deny the crime, which makes the investigation more complicated and may even prolong it ," explains Shmid.

In Japan, detention can last up to 23 days, even longer if new evidence is found. What happens next largely depends on what the other two accused say and how clear the potential evidence is. According to BILD information, the three suspected perpetrators have been interrogated separately since their arrest and have not seen each other since.

It remains unclear whether charges will be filed or whether an out-of-court settlement with the victim will be possible.

However, Shmid makes it clear: “ I think Kaishu Sano's sports career is over for now. And if the allegations are true, he could face up to 5 years in prison without the possibility of parole ."

Mainc 05 has not yet reacted. For the Bundesliga club, the presumption of innocence continues to be valid due to the non-transparent information situation.

According to correspondent Shmid, the Sano case has already caused "great anger" in Japan.
