Edmond Hasanbelliu has resigned from Teuta. The president of the Durrës club has officially announced his decision through the club.
To this day, he has been the longest-serving president of the Super League, having been in charge of the Durrës team for 26 years since January 1999. During this time, he has played over 1,100 matches.
" With regret, I would like to announce that I have resigned from the position of President. After a long period of commitment and dedication, I have decided to open a new chapter in my life, seeking new professional and personal opportunities."
During my time with the association, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the development of various projects and work with many extraordinary individuals. For this, I feel appreciated and grateful for the support and cooperation I have received from every member of the association.
Even though I am leaving, I am confident that the association will continue with the same enthusiasm and dedication in achieving its goals. I will always maintain a close connection with everyone and I wish everyone success in the future. Thank you for all the moments and opportunities I have had to contribute to this journey ”, says Hasanbelliu.
The pinnacle of success for Hasanbelliu was winning the championship title in 2021. During his time as president, he also won the Albanian Cup three times and the Super Cup twice.
