Elhan Kastrati is one of the Albanian national team players who are looking for a new destination to continue their career. The red and black goalkeeper has just left Citadel, after ending his five-year adventure with this club which was relegated to Serie C.
Many hypotheses have emerged about Kastrati, but Italian media insist that he is closer to returning "home". He is expected to join the Pescara club, which he knows very well after playing with them for several years both at youth level and with the first team.
In fact, Kastrati spent two seasons there in the club's academy, after his departure from Albania in 2014-2016, before moving to the first team where he played a few matches until 2020 when he finally left this team. With Pescara's return to Serie B, the opportunity has arisen for him to wear the jersey of the famous Italian club again, which is looking for a quality goalkeeper for the new edition.
