But will Albanians have the right to follow the challenge in the Serbian capital on October 11?
This is the question that N1 television asks through its portal, after the Serbian Football Federation decided that the match with the red and blacks will be played at the "Rajko Mitic" stadium in Belgrade.
And it seems they give the answer themselves.
" Most likely not, despite the fact that at this moment there is no penalty that prevents Albanian fans from traveling to matches where they play as friends ," writes N1 .
It is also emphasized that FIFA has not made any decision that distinguishes the Serbia-Albania match from others.
" The participation of Serbian fans in the match in Tirana last weekend was not possible as a result of a penalty imposed on the Federation for scenes in the Nations League match against Switzerland ," explains N1.
As Serbian media reports, it is expected that the possible punishment of the Albanian Football Association for the scenes in the match with Serbia will be used as a pretext to ban the participation of Albanian fans. However, so far UEFA has not expressed a desire for punishment against Albanian fans.
The Rajko Mitic Stadium, also known as Marakana, is the home of the Crvena Zvezda football team. This is not the same arena as the match that took place on October 14, 2014, which was played at Belgrade's Partizan Stadium.
The match was interrupted after Serbian fans threw flares and other objects onto the pitch. At that moment, a drone carrying a flag with Albanian patriotic symbols entered the stadium. This caused Serbian fans to enter the pitch and hit the Albanian players, assisted by the stadium guards.
For this reason, UEFA decided that the match should be won by Albania on the scoreboard with a score of 3-0.
