Big absence for Albania, AFF: Red and black midfielder misses matches with Gibraltar and Latvia

Midfielder Ylber Ramadani will miss two national team matches in September, the friendly with Gibraltar on September 4 and the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Latvia in Tirana.

The news was announced by the Albanian Football Federation through a post on the official Facebook page.

"The Communications Department at the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) informs that the footballer has had a recurrent larynx infection, which requires rest for several days and antibiotic therapy, and for this reason he will not be able to respond to the call-up of the National Team," the AFHA announced.
