Armando Broja is not expected to be transferred to Cagliari, as reports in recent days about a possible move of the Albanian striker to Serie A have been dismissed by transfer expert Alfredo Pedula.
Through a post on social media, the Italian journalist explained that the Sardinian club has not held any concrete negotiations for the Albanian national team striker and that his name is not part of the current plans of Cagliari's management.
According to Pedula, Cagliari's main target for the offensive department remains Verona striker Kieron Bovi. However, reaching an agreement is not expected to be easy, as Verona values the 23-year-old at around 10 million euros.
At the moment, Broja does not appear among the Sardinian club's objectives, while his future still remains unclear, awaiting new developments during the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Italian media have reported in recent days that Cagliari are also interested in two other Albanian footballers, Stiven Shpendi and Kristjan Asllani. So far, there have been no concrete developments for either of them, and it remains to be seen whether the Italian club will move forward with any moves in the coming weeks.
Any possible transfer of these players would be of particular importance for the Albanian legionnaires and for their presence in the elite of Italian football.
