The spectacle of a football match quickly turned into a soap opera. In the stands of the “Ilha do Retiro” stadium in Recife, Brazil, shortly before the start of the match between Sport Recife and Ceara SC, a match of the 28th week of the Brazilian Championship, fans witnessed an incredible scene.
On the pitch, the match ended 1-1, but it was what happened earlier that dominated the conversation throughout the evening and in the hours that followed. In a video that immediately went viral on social media, a woman discovered her husband in the company of another woman on the stadium steps.
A betrayal in broad daylight, in front of the astonished eyes of fans, which also includes screaming and slapping.
“I am his wife!” she shouts before addressing her husband, who is urging her to lower her voice because everyone is looking at her. However, the woman, hurt by the betrayal, refused to listen and continued to complain against her partner: “It's over !”.
The situation becomes awkward, to say the least, but the betrayed wife continued her outburst without stopping, and at a certain point she got so close to her husband that she couldn't resist the temptation to punch him in the face at least two or three times.
Is that all? No. After the man was “fixed,” the woman turned to the woman who was supposed to be her partner’s girlfriend, who had remained motionless until that moment. She tried to approach her, but the man then intervened in an attempt to protect her from possible punches or slaps.
