Din Klapija has decided to change national team again, according to recent reports in Kosovo. The 18-year-old of Albanian origin, who has played with the American youth teams, is expected to represent Kosovo in the future.
According to rumors, Klapija had an incident at the American youth level and the parties decided to part ways. Klapija previously represented Croatia at the youth level.
Leipzig spent 3 million euros to bring the center forward closer in 2024. Klapija still has the option to play for Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro.
Klapija himself was born in America. He is currently focused on Leipzig, where he plays for the U-19 age group.
