A witness, who was part of the team working for two club managers who had built their own criminal network, has also spoken out about the scandal that occurred in Italy, where footballers and Formula 1 drivers participated in parties with banned substances and escorts.
The witness denounced the two managers of Ma.De Milano, who kept half of the income. She lived in Cinisello Balsamo, in the same building as the agency, which also owned an illegal nightclub.
Even "during the isolation and restriction of gatherings" due to Covid, "social events with escort services were organized almost every day", and the girls had "paid sex with guests, mainly selected from professional football".
These are excerpts from the story of one of the young prostitutes who, on August 23, 2024, decided to denounce Emanuele Buttini and Deborah Ronchi, who were placed under house arrest on Monday, also for criminal conspiracy, along with two other people.
They allegedly ran, through Ma.De Milano, a suspected prostitution and exploitation network, with an "all-inclusive" post-match package: evenings at five-star clubs in Milan's nightlife, escorts and sometimes "snorting" laughing gas.
The woman told investigators, as part of the investigation by the Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Financial Police), and as stated in the order issued by preliminary investigation judge Chiara Valori, that she lived in Cinisello Balsamo, in the Milan area, in an apartment in the same building where Ma.De had its headquarters, from 2019 to 2023.
The building, she said, also housed “an illegal nightclub” and events were advertised on Instagram. And “Ronchi and Buttini kept at least 50% of the amount paid, giving the girl the rest.”
The girl spoke about the case of a Colombian woman who “in 2022 was forced into prostitution for 1,000 euros,” of which only half remained with her. The young women also had to “pay the rent for the rooms” in the same building. Not all the girls working for the couple were “escorts,” some were simply “image girls.” The witness mentioned five who were prostitutes.
And she explained that at those “parties”, laughing gas contained “in balloons was often consumed”, which was popular with “athletes”, because it did not test positive for doping. And she also listed the names of those responsible for “contacting clients” and “selecting girls”, the “drivers” who took young women and athletes to clubs, restaurants, hotels or to Cinisello, the bodyguards and DJs. These statements “found confirmation”.
