The French referee brings justice to the Bosnia-Italy match, a precedent for the 43-year-old who makes the blues tremble

Klement Terpin will be the referee of the decisive match between Bosnia and Italy, valid for World Cup qualification.

The 43-year-old Frenchman is considered one of the most highly regarded referees on the international stage. During his career, he has refereed over 600 matches, including more than 100 in European competitions such as the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.

Highlights of his career include the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid in Paris, as well as the 2021 Europa League final in Gdansk between Villarreal and Manchester United. Terpin has also refereed important matches at the World Cup and European Championship.

As for his experience with the Italian national team, Terpin has refereed five matches for the "blues", with a record of three wins and two losses. One of these defeats remains particularly heavy for Italy: the loss in Palermo to North Macedonia, which led to their absence from the World Cup for the second time in a row.
