Alarm for attack in Ukraine, two Albanian footballers leave immediately after sirens (Video)

Two Albanian footballers, Baton Zabërgja and Ermir Rashica, faced an unusual and tense situation in Ukraine as they were preparing for an official match.

During the warm-up before the match between Metalist 1925 and Chernihiv, air raid sirens were activated at the Zhytomyr stadium. Footage released shows the anxious moments, when players, technical staff and fans were forced to immediately leave the pitch for safety reasons.

Due to the situation, the Ukrainian Cup semi-final, scheduled to take place at 17:00, was temporarily postponed. Later, the organizers announced that the match will start at 19:10.

Metalist 1925 also includes Itodo Mandela and Kristian Mba. The club in question has been distinguished in the last two years for its investments in players coming from the Albanian championship.
