Renowned gym instructor, Remil Peqini, has made a statement that is expected to spark debate, during an interview on the show "Live From Tirana".
Commenting on studies that speak of an increase in infidelity during the summer, Peqini stated that the season is not the main reason, but everything is related to the character of the individual.
He also spoke about the phenomenon of open relationships, claiming that such cases have increased significantly in Tirana.
"The first one to cheat has thought through the betrayal well and is not hurt if you do the same. I even think he feels better because he says 'now we are equal'. Now the game opens up because both can cheat and become like these relationships that are almost open relationships," said Peqini.
Asked if there are many such couples in the capital, he replied:
"There are many, from what we have heard, there are many."
Peqini explained that these are partners who, by mutual agreement, choose to have other relationships.
"I hear it. I don't agree with these, but there is an agreement between two partners who can live the life they want... and can coexist together."
The instructor expressed that he is categorically against this relationship model, emphasizing that he believes in the traditional family.
"I'm very much against it, I'm pro-family. These things don't bring families. You have to think about this for a long time. They'll be parents one day, what will they educate their children with? Is it normal to cheat? That's for later ," he said.
