During an open confession on "Big Brother VIP Albania", Stelina has told a frightening event from her life, which forced her to immediately leave the place where she lived, in Pisa, Italy. She has described how some people, whom she identified as Albanians, followed and observed her in the area where she lived.
"I had been spotted by several people who were Albanians in the area where I lived. I had noticed that a car had been following me for the last few days: either it was parked in front of the house, or it was waiting for me a little further away, at the entrance to the neighborhood," Stelina confessed.
At first, she didn't pay much attention to the situation, thinking that the people might just be neighborhood residents "hanging out for fun." But a warning from someone close to her changed her perception: "Watch out, they've spotted you," he told her.
Stelina revealed that their suspicions related to the use of clothes she purchased, which they thought could be used for illegal activities.
The situation worsened further when Stelina found her house ransacked (stuff broken) after returning from shopping. Out of fear, she made the drastic decision to immediately return to Albania. “I booked my ticket at the last minute and left for Albania. I left with the idea that I would come back again, to find another house, but I never returned because of fear,” she confessed.
The story shows the real and psychological consequences that threats and stalking can have on individuals in their daily lives. For Stelina, the fear was so great that it influenced her life decisions and forced her to abandon the home and community where she had grown up.
