Thoughts on suicide, Meghan Markle: I will save others

Meghan Markle has spoken again about her experience with bullying at the Royal Palace, as well as the suicidal thoughts she has had in the past.

Prince Harry's wife made this confession about her bitter experience during the promotion of the new platform "The Parent's Network" (for direct or virtual support of parents who have lost children).

Speaking about online bullying and the effects it has on children, Markle spoke about how her experiences have connected her to these families.

"When you go through a level of pain or trauma, I believe that part of the process is to be open to the experience," she said in the "CBS Sunday Morning" interview.

Meghan Markle added that she wished no one felt the way she did.

"I would never want anyone to make those plans. And I would never want them to be disbelieved," she said, referring to suicidal thoughts, adding:

"So if I say what I've been through to save someone else, or encourage people in their life to honestly check and not be fooled by this person's appearance, it's worth it. I will do it".

Meghan spoke about her negative thoughts in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. The 43-year-old revealed that she had suicidal thoughts when she was pregnant with son Archie, after facing royal pressure and the treatment of the British media.

"I just didn't want to live anymore", the Duchess said at the time, adding that she did not see a solution to her thoughts.
