Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his 56th birthday on November 4 inside the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey, where he is serving a 50-month prison sentence for two counts of transporting persons for the purpose of prostitution.
According to PEOPLE's sources, Diddy spent the day on a typical prison menu that included: a breakfast of fruit, cereal, and whole-grain bread, while for lunch he was offered chicken parmesan or a burger with chickpeas, accompanied by pasta and spinach. For dinner, he had the choice between cheese pizza and blue beans, accompanied by salads and a drink.
Although the commissionaire's list allowed him to buy sweets like Pop-Tarts or cake, the absence of applesauce, his favorite, according to witnesses, was noticed.
Combs was transferred to Fort Dix on October 30, after his lawyers requested a move from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn due to harsh conditions and a lack of rehabilitation programs.
According to Federal Bureau of Prisons data, Sean “Diddy” Combs's expected release date is May 8, 2028. Meanwhile, his attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, has filed an appeal of the sentence, which has been accepted by the court and is expected to be heard in April 2026.
Thus, Diddy's 56th birthday passed away from the music scene, in a new reality, within the walls of federal prison.
