Elsa Lila confessed in Opinion about the 55 days she unjustly spent in prison. While initially thanking all the readers who have been interested in her story in "Welcome to Rebibbia", she confessed why she was imprisoned in one of the most feared prisons of the Italian state.
"I was imprisoned because I was accused of participating in a criminal organization for the distribution of narcotics. They accused me that I was one of the leaders of this absurdity.
The only link was my acquaintance and friendship with two of the accused, who are Albanians. I knew them without knowing what they do. When I was at 41 biss, those two weeks my phone was checked on all the cells.”
For the first time, the famous singer shared her doubts about the imprisonment without facts.
"Since it is absurd that without evidence a public figure, a respected, respected artist was used as a news motive, used as the heroine of this organization, there was something major and tendentious behind it, maybe even from here... She emphasizes that for the almost 2-month isolation, being innocent, she will request reimbursement through legal means.
"After 55 days, you will read in the book, I was the only one who asked for a questionnaire. The prosecutor who was following the case was totally convinced by my answers, by the lack of facts and there was no communication with the gangs on the cell phone.
The people in question were friends of friends who moved to Rome a few years ago. That we met from time to time for some coffee, some beer. Everyone is in! I arrived and was lucky enough to meet very kind people there, who helped me to make those days more livable", said the artist.
