Albanian model, Kleofina (Pnishi) Pavard was the next guest on Arbana Osmani's "Good Morning Stars". She has confessed for the first time her acquaintance with French footballer, Benjamin Pavard.
Kleofina, who in July of this year ended her celibacy and married the Frenchman, with the couple having a grand wedding in France. In her story, she told about meeting the Frenchman and how their love story began.
He even revealed that at first, when he saw her at a party, he didn't like her at all, while for the footballer it was "love at first sight".
She also revealed that for 5 years Pavard wrote to her and sent her flowers, despite the fact that they had no contact, until at one point she decided to give her a chance.
But the hardest thing for Kleofina was the moment when she had to tell her father. Even her father didn't agree at first, because he was terrified that she would have a Frenchman as a husband. But then he accepted everything and they now enjoy a good relationship.
" I married a Frenchman. My dad didn't agree at first. I didn't tell him, my brother told him. I couldn't imagine myself telling my dad that I loved a Frenchman. My brother told him when we were at the beach. He told him that he was a footballer, he started with the worst. For him, it was even more terrible, being a footballer, famous, getting involved with women. So he said he'd let them spend another 6 months together, he pretended not to hear and lied to himself that it wasn't true.
6 months passed, and I was still in love, my brother went to meet her and tell her again. Benjamin went to meet his father, his father didn't come out to meet him for three days. I begged him a lot, I told him to please come out because I have never disappointed you. If I took this step, I thought about all the aspects, the children.
Dad is annoyed that traditions will not be followed, that the children do not speak Albanian. When they met, it was like love at first sight, I did not believe it, they got along better than I thought. He made Dad his own. He adapts to people. At first he did not know who he was, then he checked who he was, he saw that there was no bad news about him.
We met in 2018, I thought like a father that I wanted an Albanian man. His close friend was in a relationship with my close friend and we met on her birthday. I didn't think he would be my future, I didn't like him at first. The moment he met me, he told this friend of his that "I can have other girlfriends, this will be too, but in the end I will marry this one".
Until 2023, we never went out together, while he sent flowers, asked friends, at every birthday he came to say that I was there too. There was an affair at this time. At my friend's engagement, I saw that the problem was me, I realized that with her I was myself. I told her you are not Albanian and you are not for me, I don't like you physically.
Now that I think about it, I say I wasn't good. I thought that if I continued like this I could lose him, that he could continue his life. When you realize that you are losing someone, it opens your eyes. At that moment I said "how is it possible that in these 5 years I haven't loved him", says the model, who at one point during the interview called the footballer to show that she had learned a few Albanian words.
"Eat your heart. Love. Heart. I love you," were some of the words Pavard learned to speak , the model said.
