"Brotherly meeting with Rama", Ali Ahmeti reveals details from

DUI Chairman Ali Ahmeti, through a post on the network, announced the meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama, which he considers fraternal and adds that Albania and North Macedonia must be part of the irreversible European path.

According to Ahmeti, the European future of the region is shared and there can be no division in this process.

The leader of the DUI indicates that they also discussed threats to the Ohrid Agreement, interethnic relations in the country, but also the importance of strengthening relations between Albania and North Macedonia.

A fraternal meeting in Skopje with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, within the framework of the Conference on the European Union. At a time when Albania is on an irreversible path towards membership in the European Union, we reiterated that North Macedonia must also be part of this path. The European future of the region is shared, there is no division in this process.

We discussed:

– Serious threats to the Ohrid Agreement;

– Interethnic relations in the country;

– The importance of strengthening state relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania.

"This was a sincere meeting, with political and fraternal depth, in the service of equality and a European perspective ," Ahmeti wrote.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy leader of the DUI, Bujar Osmani. Prime Minister Rama is in Skopje together with other regional leaders as part of the EU summit where the growth plan will be discussed.
