Prime Minister Edi Rama has rejected claims that the state is pardoning Zvërnec, describing them as fake news.
According to him, the area in question has long been private property and there is no question of a transfer or donation of state property.
"A fake news has been raised as if the state is forgiving Zvërnec. The state is not forgiving anything because the state has nothing there. It is a private property, in Denbabad. The investors involved in that process are extremely serious, having taken that property from the private sector. The state is part of the project and will be there, and the land of the island will be there, belonging to the Albanian state," said Rama.
These statements were made during the presentation of the company Albanian Digital Solution Sh.A., an initiative that, according to the Prime Minister, aims to modernize public services and promote technological innovation in Albania.
