Enno Bozdo said that depopulation and criminalization of the Albanian economy and society are challenges that threaten our country. According to him, Edi Rama has not mentioned them at all in the government program.
The Democratic MP spoke about the opposition's action in the Assembly and the stance they will take during Rama's presentation of the government program in the Assembly.
"All DP deputies will speak, each one will focus on the field they know best. There will be political discussions of the chairman. The program is not available online, we searched for it online and we got a 60-page book in hand, I am impressed by something that every time the prime minister comes out when he forms a new government, the program in a structured form usually contains the identification of the main economic and social problems of the country and how to solve them. When you read it you will feel like Alice in Wonderland", said Bozdo.
According to him, if depopulation continues at this rate, it will make Albania an unlivable country.
"The biggest debate and threatening challenge of Albania is depopulation. Depopulation at these rates will lead the Albanian economy into a hole, will make this country unlivable. There is no country in the world that can achieve economic growth by doing so through population reduction. This is not a country that has a tradition in technology and innovation," said Bozdo.
Bozdo added that another issue that was not mentioned in the government program is that of the criminalization of the Albanian economy and that there is no support for domestic production.
"The second issue is the criminalization of the economy of society, the penetration of organized crime through money laundering, the purchase of shares in private companies, the projection of very powerful groups is the essence of public security. I do not expect Rama to touch on this issue because he has drawn a large part of the votes from this partnership, but something that the EU requires that is becoming famous here and few talk about has to do with money laundering. Yesterday the euro fell to 970 lek and this is terrible news. Rama does not even dare to mention these issues. And three where there is a program without support for domestic production," Bozdo concluded for "A2 CNN".
