The trick to get money, 15 parliamentary parties 'grow'! Berisha rents

Only 6 of the entities that competed on May 11 were able to secure seats in parliament. But now that the new Assembly has been constituted, there are now 15 parliamentary parties.

According to official CEC data made available to Report TV, Sali Berisha's coalition has produced 9 other parties.

Some of them represent allies to whom Berisha gave safe list seats, while others have used a trick with the help of the DP to appear as parliamentary parties.

Thus, in addition to the Freedom Party, the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, the Republican Party, the PDIU and the PBDNJ that had their candidates on the closed lists and won mandates, the Balli Kombëtar Democratic Party, the Legality Movement, the Christian Democratic Party and the New Democratic Spirit also appear as parliamentary parties.

For this, DP MPs Besard Xhaferi, Denisa Vata, Greta Bardeli and Klevis Balliu have declared themselves as candidates and are now the winning MPs of these parties.

All of this is done so that Berisha's small allies, those who were not given seats to enter parliament, can earn public money from the annual funds that the state provides to parties. The law stipulates that parliamentary parties receive the funding.

This is one way Berisha is helping his partners in the opposition. He has helped some of those in parliament, through another trick, to create parliamentary groups, lending deputies to the Freedom Party and the Republican Party.

This means that both of these groups have offices in the Assembly, support staff, and are represented in the highest parliamentary bodies more strongly than if they were independent deputies. / Shqiptarja.com
