Prime Minister Rama has given another message in the context of the new reform for public spaces and respect for urban planning rules, emphasizing this time on construction sites in residential areas.
In a communication on the social network "Facebook", Rama stated that builders cannot become a problem for the residents of the area, but must take all measures to ensure that their activity is as less sensitive as possible for the community.
"Whoever builds a building cannot become the problem of the area. They must take measures so that the surrounding area does not feel it at all or feels it very little. Fenced construction sites, no encroachment on sidewalks, with pedestrian crossings - these are basic things ," said the prime minister.
He announced that a new regulation for builders will soon be adopted, which will define clear obligations for the management of construction sites in urban areas. According to Rama, non-compliance with the rules will result in drastic measures.
"We are not only cleaning the platforms and tents, but also inspecting the construction sites. Because construction sites do not appear on television, but they are a daily source of concern for citizens ," Rama added.
The Prime Minister also mentioned the resistance that, according to him, comes from various actors who try to evade justice, including questionable decisions by some judges.
"We have made confiscations and we will continue. Even though some brazen person comes out and takes security measures for buildings built without permission that have been confiscated by the state. This is a criminal offense, not a civil dispute. We also get a brazen judge for an unlicensed building. Lastly, in the last campaign I was part of Tirana, I am also a deputy of Tirana, whoever says how and why, I want to tell them that I am doing as I have done and as I will do for Vlora and Durrës", referring to a stance towards judge Hazbi Balliu.
