Who is Lulzim Basha's "sucker" that Rama appointed deputy mayor of Tirana?

10 days after Prime Minister Edi Rama "knocked" again at the Tirana Municipality, 4 deputy mayors resigned en masse to "refresh" this institution.

Frida Pashako, Keti Luarasi, Andi Seferi and Jonida Halili were removed from office, and four other vice presidents were appointed in their place, Blendi Sula, Ilir Mengra, Gentian Keri and Vasilika Vjero. These leadership positions will also have specific duties.

Ilir Mengra will be vice mayor for public affairs, Vjero Vjero for finance and economic development, Sula for territory and rural development management, and Gentjan Këri for municipal administration.

In addition to the three new names, that of Blendi Sulaj has received media attention, as Lulzim Basha's sucker, before joining the Socialist Party.

Blendi Sulaj was previously part of Fatmir Mediu's Republican Party and later the chairman of Basha's FRPD.

In these May 11 elections, Sulaj decided to engage with the Socialist Party and today he was rewarded with the position of Deputy Mayor of Tirana.
