The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has responded to the accusations of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, regarding the organization of an activity in Vlora the following day.
From the Parliament podium, Balla rejected Berisha's claims that the Socialist Party is organizing a counter-rally in the face of citizen protests, emphasizing that it is about festive activities within the framework of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party.
He described Berisha's claim that a counter-rally would be held in Vlora as a diversion, adding that the planned activity is a celebration organized by the socialists.
"Mr. Berisha, I see you insisting impatiently on participating in the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the SP. We have a planned calendar of our celebrations, of course you cannot be invited to the birthdays of the SP neither in Vlora, nor in Tirana, nor anywhere else. We have defeated you 15 times out of 20 electoral battles. With Edi Rama as the leader of the SP, we have defeated you 8 times in a row, we will defeat you again in a year, we will defeat you in 2029. That is why your diversion is that tomorrow in Vlora we have an anti-meeting, we have a birthday celebration and the people of Vlora are the capital of the SP. Do well to remember that no one understands you," said Balla.
