The negotiating group mandated by Sali Berisha to communicate with other opposition parties will begin work today to find a consensual candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.
Sources for A2CNN indicate that Belind Këllicci, Flamur Noka and Ilir Alimehmeti will begin meetings with allies today, and later with other parties.
Berisha's three mandated representatives for the negotiations, Këlliçi, Alimehmeti and Noka, are expected to meet initially with the leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, and the leader of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, at noon today.
Meetings with the leaders of the Freedom Party and other allied forces are expected tomorrow. Meanwhile, next week there will also be meetings with Agron Shehaj, Adriatik Lapaj and Arlind Qori.
According to sources, the meetings will initially be informal, and then there will be formal meetings to reach a written agreement.
