Prime Minister Edi Rama describes the victory of the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections as the fruit of the immense work of the Socialists.
At a reception for the winning MPs, Rama said that while the DP was casting its votes, the SP was working to win the elections.
"We started a long time ago, we created a national board of the diaspora. We met at 8 am, every Monday. We followed the volunteer network of the SP, in Greece and beyond, wherever Albanians are. When we did this, Jozefina was looking at fate in the cup, which turned out to be a lucky one, like the return of Doruntina. 10 percent for them, and 90 percent for us, depends on how many voters are registered and how motivated they are to register, the rest is rubbish. They offered the Albanians a political corpse for prime minister. In the end, the donkey did not fly. We brought the SP to a record figure, 856 thousand votes, 88 thousand more than in 2021. The SP crossed the 50 percent mark, passing 4 and a half points, thanks to a better capillary organization in the territory than ever before ," he emphasized.
