Dashnor Sula, a DP MP who was not included in the party's candidate lists on May 11, stated that he will run for the position of DP Chairman if Sali Berisha leaves.
From the News 24 studio, Sula said that if figures like Berisha, Flamur Noka or Albana Vokshi continue to lead the party, he will no longer have any connection with the DP.
Sula also left open the possibility of launching a new political initiative, mentioning the idea of creating a third pole in the Albanian political scene.
"If Sali Berisha resigns as the leader of the DP, I am an alternative to run. If Sali Berisha, Flamur Noka and Albana Vokshi are in the DP, I will no longer cross that threshold. If these people remain in the Democratic Party, the DP will be dissolved. I would like to contribute, perhaps to the creation of a third pole," said Sula.
