Activist Arbër Lleshi has debated with MP Sara Mila about the financing of rapper Kanye West's concert. Lleshi said that giving 4.2 million euros to a fascist singer is a unique case for Albania. While Mila reminded him that there are even more serious symbols in the citizens' protest.
Debate on the show "The Unexposed":
Lleshi: Article 101 of the Constitution, on which this decision for 4.2 million euros is based, states that the Council of Ministers, in cases of need and urgency, issues normative acts under its responsibility.
Mila: Emergency.
Lleshi: Shall we discuss the words urgency and emergency?
Mila: Of course, it's not an emergency fund.
Lleshi: Please, stop, you're becoming unpleasant.
Mila: Don't worry, I'll interrupt you whenever I feel like it.
Lleshi: 4.2 million euros for a fascist singer is a unique case, which only happens in Albania with Edi Rama as prime minister.
Mila: Did you see those people with those symbols at the protest? Or just Keni. Keni isn't even Albanian.
Lleshi: Mr. Rakipi, the lady you invited to the show, does not even represent the deeds of the government that does these things because she has been brought in as a figure to wash away the outdated image of the government. Madam. It is unfortunate that a lady of our generation is a government of 13 years of corruption.
Mila: According to you.
Lleshi: Yes, in my opinion.
Mila: Just say it's our personal opinion, that you don't have facts. Just say I have an opinion and express it.
Lleshi: Don't interrupt me.
Mila: I'll interrupt you as much as I want. You can't call 13 years corruption. If you have facts, say so, here are 13 years of corruption.
Lleshi: We are not at a party-state meeting here.
Mila: Because I don't speak at those meetings, you say, so we talk here.
Lleshi: Write it down in advance and read it out loud.
Mila: I'm waiting for them to write to me so I can give you the answer.
Lleshi: The lady does not represent the government, and those who represent the government do not have the courage to come to this studio. Because they do not come to defend themselves.
