On the 44th day, protesters, after the rally held in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, began marching through the streets of Tirana.
As in previous evenings, the participants are organized on a defined itinerary, aiming to pass through some of the most frequented axes of the capital. The march started from the Prime Minister's Office and continues along the segment of the Ring Road, in the Vasil Shanto area.
Afterwards, the protest column will move towards the Paris Commune intersection, to return to Vasil Shanto. The itinerary will end with the protesters returning in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where this evening's protest is expected to end.
During the march, protesters are holding banners and conveying their messages through chants, while organizers have appealed to participants to conduct the protest peacefully and according to the announced itinerary.
State Police forces are also engaged in the field, monitoring the march and accompanying the movement of protesters along the roads along the route. In some segments, vehicle traffic has been temporarily restricted to guarantee the march and the safety of participants.
The evening march is part of a protest that has been ongoing for 44 consecutive days in Tirana. Every evening, protesters first gather in front of the Prime Minister's Office and then march in different areas of the capital, repeating their demands and positions.
