Myslym Murrizi, who ran on May 11 on the open list of the Tirana District as part of the 'PD-ASHM' coalition, coming in third in the Democratic Party, after Jorida Tabaku and Ilir Alimehmeti, has reacted on social networks to Blendi Fevziu, who on Thursday evening brought back the 2001 elections, mentioning the Dushku phenomenon. In the elections 24 years ago, 11 parliamentary mandates were produced from only 1 electoral zone, a scheme carefully calculated at the time by the socialists, who aimed to reach 84 mandates.
In his reaction, Murrizi states that the 2001 Dushku was made by Ilir Meta, who was Prime Minister at the time, with the aim of the SP receiving 84 mandates, the number of votes needed to make Fatos Nano President, with the aim that the one who was Prime Minister would take control of the party.
Murrizi accompanied his reaction with a video, the speech he gave in Parliament 2020, when he called for open lists, so that citizens would be the ones to choose the deputies.
"Time proved me right, and today more than ever I will continue the battle for 100% open lists, because the vote of the citizens of the Tirana district rated me as the 3rd most voted candidate in the district from the DP list and the fourth including Meta's party," writes Murrizi.

A friend told me that last night, on the show "Opinion", Fevziu mentioned the Dushku area to me.
You had enough time to uncover the truth about Dushku 2001, Blendi, but they didn't allow you to pay.
Ask Meta, Kaç Islam, "Zi", Ylli Bufi and Platon Arapi, Blendi, and they will explain it in detail, don't pretend to know everything, when in fact you only know what they allow you to know.
Since you are passionate about Dushku, or born dushkars, I am telling you the same thing I told the SP deputies in parliament, in June 2020, who were sitting there like castrated:
Dushku made Meta prime minister to secure 84 mandates to make Nano president and take over the Socialist Party.
He even stole Halit Shamata's mandate in Peqin by stuffing the ballot boxes with police, Ridvan Bode's mandate in Devoll by brutally beating the commissioners, and Fuli Kalidhopulli's mandate in Dropull, where a man died, by stuffing the ballot boxes in the middle of the plot.
Dushku's strategist, Blendi, was Kaç's "democratic" skull-breaking.
But, since Mr. Celibashi is still the chairman of the CEC today, when the work is finished with the final announcement of the results of the May 11 elections, invite him to the studio and he will tell you the whole "story", because even in 2001 he was the chairman of the CEC, together with Klement Zguri and Gasper Koka.
Berisha, if he has forgotten what happened to Dushku in 2001, I can remind him – because damn it, I remember a lot.
Hear my words about the permanent "caterpillars" of politics who, after five elections, come to parliament without a vote, like disgusting "thieves."
Time proved me right, and today more than ever I will continue the battle for 100% open lists, because the vote of the citizens of the Tirana district ranked me as the 3rd most voted candidate in the district from the DP list and the fourth including Meta's party.
