Prime Minister Edi Rama has made the most of the public statements of the EU Ambassador to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, regarding Albania's integration, to ask citizens not to engage with the opposition's untrue statements that the negotiation process has been blocked.
Rama even went further when he considered them as daily and nightly farces that are used to mislead not only citizens, but also the government.
"Albania is first in public procurement, in the way the system works, first in the region. We are on the right track as a country in this EU public procurement report, it is higher than many EU countries from the point of view of the integrity of public procurement."

"He doesn't go out there to lie, he doesn't serve the government of Albania. If there was an undeclared blockade, he wouldn't have come out at all. The fact that he said it, he said a simple truth, he didn't say anything," he said.
