Love, art and music take center stage at the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble (TKOBAP), which opens the artistic calendar of February with a series of events that promise strong emotions and unforgettable cultural experiences.
The month begins with the return of Gaetano Donizetti's beloved opera, "L'Elisir d'Amore", brought to the stage this time as a completely new production. With humor, feeling and Donizetti's immortal melodies, four magical evenings will be performed by renowned artists of the Albanian and international scene, among them Enkeleda Kamani, Gëzim Myshketa, Davide Luciano, Nina Muho and Artur Vera, placing love at the center of the capital.
The calendar continues with the chamber music concert "LUM", an intimate and reflective evening with Hersi Matmujë (vocals) and Jacopo Conoci (cello), where sound and emotion come together in a heartfelt artistic dialogue.
A special focus of TKOBAP remains the education and formation of the new generation. In this context, on February 16th and 17th, a vocal masterclass is being organized with two internationally renowned baritones, Gëzim Myshketa and Davide Luciano, creating a space for exchange, inspiration and professional growth for young artists.
The youthful energy will culminate with the symphonic concert "Brezi i Lirisë", performed by the Amadeus Youth Orchestra, a musical experience that combines the passion of young people with the power of the symphony orchestra.
The magic of Disney will take over the stage through a vocal-symphonic concert with the most beloved soundtracks of cartoons, under the direction of maestro Diego Bassi, bringing a dreamy atmosphere to audiences of all ages.
The opera "L'Elisir d'Amore" also returns in a version for children and families, bringing this masterpiece closer to even the youngest audience and cultivating a love of art from an early age.
The calendar concludes with the ethno-musical premiere of the Popular Ensemble, "Journey to Arbëria", an artistic journey towards our roots, identity and cultural heritage.
TKOBAP invites the public to be part of a month filled with emotions, where culture, music and love meet every evening on stage, turning February into a true celebration of art.
