Renowned British documentary photographer Martin Parr has died at the age of 73 at his home in the western English city of Bristol, his foundation announced on Sunday.
Famous for his color-filled images, Parr had a keen eye for everyday oddities, which featured in his humorous photographs of bronzed beachgoers and selfie-taking vacationers.
"It is with great sadness that we announce that Martin Parr (1952-2025) died yesterday at his home in Bristol," a statement on the Martin Parr Foundation website said.
"Martin will be greatly missed," the foundation added, noting that he is survived by his wife Susie, his daughter Ellen, his sister Vivien and his nephew George.
"The family requests privacy at this time," the statement from his family said.

The foundation and Magnum Photos, the prestigious agency of which he had been a member since 1994, "will work together to preserve and share Martin's legacy."
Martin Parr visited Albania in 1990 and took some of the most iconic photographs of our country in the last days of the communist regime.
