Actor Zhani Ziçishti has passed away at the age of 86, ending a long journey on the Albanian stage and screen.
The Korça Art and Culture Center made the news public and praised his contribution to theater and film. Ziçishti built a career spanning several decades, during which he performed numerous roles in theater and cinematographic productions. He identified with the artistic life of Korça and actively participated in its development over the years.
His activity on stage and screen marked an important period for Albanian theater and film. Through the roles he performed, he became part of the artistic repertoire that shaped the cultural life of the city and beyond.
Tributes in honor of the actor will be held on February 26, from 09:30 to 10:30, in the lobby of the Korça theater.
Family, colleagues and representatives of the artistic community will bid their final farewell to the actor, who contributed to the country's cultural life for decades.
