David Tukiçi, the well-known composer, spoke in an interview about Parashqevi Simaku and his relationship with her talent. Tukiçi said that he was the first to discover Parashqevi's talent when she was part of the choir in Kavaje, after finishing high school.

David Tukiçi: Parashqivi Simaku was a talent that I discovered in the 1980s. After I finished high school for composers, I was assigned to lead the choir in Kavaje. Simaku was a girl who had bio talent, she was very young. I discovered Parashqevi Simaku as a talent. She was a very fragile, charming girl. I composed a song there and sang it in a duet with Parashqevi. I was the first to activate it. I later worked at RTSH and there I proposed her to sing and she sang and remained in the memory of Albanians. I never saw him again. I watched the video now. The traumas of life injure a person. But I think Parashkevia can recover. If it is helped by the state, it can definitely recover, to be the Parashqevia that it once was
