The well-known singer, Alida Hisku, was invited to the show "S'e Luan Topi". Hisku has been a diva of Albanian music since the 70s, while he has participated in 10 national festivals of RTSH.
She confessed for the first time the separation from her husband after the communist regime left her under "house arrest".
During the interview, Hisku recounted his experiences during the communist era, where he ended up under "house arrest" after three female interns found his diary and spied on him.
"We knew that at the festival we shouldn't wear pants, that it was modern, we shouldn't wear hair longer than our shoulders, they would cut us. After the festival, see how they cut me there. I once took Emma's shoes, my shoe got stuck on a board, I left the shoe and went out barefoot. I disappeared from activities, from work, from everything, within 24 hours. I was 24 years old, I didn't have a machine gun, I had written my dreams, my wishes, because my propaganda was to sing, I locked myself at home. I felt an injustice in myself, hope, I thought that if not today, tomorrow you will come out again", said the well-known singer.
Was it the punishment that caused the separation from the husband?
Hisku: More or less.
He could not accept it, suffered it as a punishment, or was this issue the enemy of the party, of the people?
Hisku: I haven't analyzed this topic at all, I had two children and I dealt with them, because you have to put the plaque on something to act on a higher level of life. If I stayed to analyze, I would be able to forget the children, I started working in a printing house.
He decided to separate because of this punishment, you were left with the two sons and in the early 90's you took the mountains and ran away.
Hisku: (Nods). Yes, I ran away with the two boys. Thanks to God, we are doing well. The little boy cried that it was winter, but we got through it. They took us to Hungary, the night train to Germany. All refugees will suffer in the first few years.
