An unprecedented incident occurred at the Opera and Ballet Theater, but fortunately without serious consequences. The premiere of the opera "Traviata" with main characters Eva Golemi and the Italian tenor, Alfredo, went smoothly until the third act.

In the scene where the character Violeta dies falling into Alfredo's arms, the Italian tenor playing the latter's role forgot to wait for Eva.

As it is learned, the soprano took a terrible fall, causing an ambulance to be urgently called. Fortunately, there was no serious damage to health. As those present show, the premiere began in a spectacular way, causing everyone to immediately get involved in the roles of the protagonists.

Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata" is the show that opened the new season on the stage of the National Opera and Ballet Theater. The operatic show came as a production directed by Hugo de Ana and will continue to perform for three more nights on stage.

She is Violeta, the woman who defied the norms of her time and dared to live her love to the end. She is the well-known character from Giuseppe Verdi's opera "La Traviata", which was brought to life on Friday evening by soprano Eva Golemi.

Alongside Eva Golem, who has performed the role of Violeta over 70 times on the most prestigious stages, inside and outside Albania, this character is performed by soprano Zuzana Markova, one of the most sought-after voices in the bel canto repertoire, and on September 28 by soprano Nina Muho.
