The 83rd Golden Globes ceremony was filled with excitement and surprises. Paul Thomas Anderson's film "One Battle After Another" and Netflix's series "Adolescence" were announced as winners of four awards each, marking their dominance of the event.
“One Battle After Another” was named best comedy/musical, while Anderson won best director and best screenplay, marking his first Golden Globe win. Teyana Taylor was honored for best supporting actress and dedicated the award to women and girls of color.
On the other hand, the series "Adolescence" was named best limited series, while Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty won awards for leading and supporting roles.
In the drama categories, the film "Hamnet" won the award for best picture, with Jessie Buckley as best leading actress. Director Chloé Zhao was praised by producer Steven Spielberg for her direction.

Timothée Chalamet – best actor in a comedy for the film “Marty Supreme”
Wagner Moura – best dramatic actor for “The Secret Agent”
Rose Byrne – best actress in a comedy
Stellan Skarsgård – best supporting actor
Jean Smart – best actress in a comedy series for “Hacks”
The ceremony was accompanied by political and social messages, while presenter Nikki Glaser brought back her energy for the second year in a row.
The nominations for the 2026 Oscars will be announced on January 22, while the awards ceremony will be held on March 15.
