The actor and director Mevlan Shanaj has a long career on the way of which he has met many names, colleagues and art colossus. Among them, he has selected 50 of them to share memories with each one in "Secrets off the screen", a book with shades of biography.
While he dwells on some names in the interview on the "Rudina" show, the director expresses himself with the highest praise for Sandër Prosi. He describes him as a noble, rare man, but in one passage of the book he has narrated a shocking event: the suicide attempt of Sander Prosi.
Rudina Magjistari: There is a moment when you say that Sandër Pros got a shock, "it was a terrible time against liberalism, it was a rule that at 9 o'clock the appeal was made in the theater. "Sandri didn't hear my name and ran away upset that I was removed from the theater," he thinks. "He was tired of the idea of fear at that time. He went home and decided to kill himself. When I went to the hospital, he told me: I had finished work in two fingers".
Mevlan Shanaj: Yes, I told him and what did I tell him? I had confidence with Sandri and I made such a gesture. He said "stay Mevlan, I had finished my work in two fingers". Sandri, this giant has suffered from persecution.
Furthermore, the book also writes about the sad day when art, and not only, lost Sandër Prosi after the tragic separation from life. The circumstances of the death are not known even today, the motive still remains a mystery.

Rudina Magician: Why?
Mevlan Shanaj: We don't know because he was alone, I asked Muharrem Fejzon when this happened in the Volga of Durrës, they had left filming in the afternoon, at 5 o'clock. He fell, they threw him, they killed him, he killed himself, there is no interpretation. there is no witness. I know that Muharrem told me "Mevlan was nervous that day".
Rudina Magjistari: Was he shooting?
Mevlan Shanaj: While filming, "Bitter Spring" was filmed. Then later, Rikard Ljarja has this role. The tragic moment happened when there are no witnesses. It fell, was thrown or what... no one knows. Not even a clear message came from the competent bodies.
