Minister of Culture Blendi Gonxhe has been reminded to react to the health condition of actor Naun Shundi. The latter has had serious problems in recent days and his family has asked for help from citizens, as he is being treated abroad and the family could not cover the expenses.
The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation has now reacted, offering full support to Shund. According to it, he will return for treatment at the QSUT.
" The Ministry of Health and Social Protection, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, clarifies public opinion regarding the health condition of the renowned actor Naun Shundi.
Following the notification received on August 7, 2025 from MEKI, the Ministry of Health immediately contacted the actor's family and offered its full support. Initially, the readiness to cover all the costs of the necessary medical intervention was guaranteed.
While awaiting the biopsy results, the need for further support in continuing treatment was identified. Even at this stage, the Ministry reconfirmed its readiness to provide full assistance.
"Currently, the actor is expected to return to Albania, where he will begin treatment at the Specialized Center at QSUT ," the announcement states.
