The murder of the 23-year-old in Mat, the witness to the execution of Azem

The investigation into the murder of 23-year-old Renis Dobra is uncovering inconsistent evidence and possible implications for criminal networks. The two men arrested for the serious incident have given contradictory accounts that reinforce suspicions of a planned crime, while admitting to contacts with characters with criminal records.

Petrit Çakrri, 55 years old, one of the detainees, (witness to the murder of Azem Hajdari) has admitted that he was in the Burrel area on the day of the incident, but denies having been part of the kidnapping or execution of the young man. He has stated to investigators that he has known Kristi Bushgjoka, one of the people still wanted, for a long time, and that their relationship had started when they were both in prison. "We still keep in touch, and we met with the Bushgjokaj brothers because they told me that we would search in those areas to get narcotics," he claimed.

Çakrri also tells of a suspicious episode, when, according to him, after the brothers got into a young man's car, they briefly told him: "Now go away." Despite these details, he denies any connection to the victim, Renis Dobra, and claims to have no knowledge of the kidnapping or murder.

Meanwhile, Fatjon Bushgjoka, 34, confirmed his acquaintance with the victim, and even their previous collaboration in illegal activities. "I have known Renis since Germany, we worked with drugs. We had disagreements, but I have nothing to do with the murder," he said.

Renis Dobra was kidnapped on July 8 and found dead, strangled with a rope near Lake Shkopet. The car he was driving was found submerged in water, while the investigation has revealed the movements of the perpetrators through security cameras. Four days before the crime, the suspects had rented vehicles; two of them, Kristi and Aleksandër Bushgjoka, are still being sought.
