Representatives of the Albanian diaspora, who came to Tirana to join the 21st protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, have unveiled their demands for political and institutional changes in the country.
From the protest podium, one of the participants presented a series of proposals that, according to him, aim to restore trust in institutions and reform the political system.
Among the demands raised was a call to SPAK to request the lifting of Prime Minister Edi Rama's immunity and the initiation of investigative procedures against him.
The protester also requested a reaction from the Constitutional Court regarding issues that, according to him, require review by the highest constitutional institution.
Another proposal presented by the diaspora was the creation of a technical government with a one-year mandate, composed of non-partisan figures and experts from various fields. According to him, a popular referendum should be organized in the eighth month of this government's mandate, the results of which should then be reflected in the Constitution.

This Saturday's protest has gathered Albanians from different countries around the world in the capital, who have stated that their participation aims to bring attention to the issues that, according to them, have influenced the departure of thousands of Albanians from the country in recent years.
