As the 21st anti-government protest is taking place with massive participation in Tirana, Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen to respond through social media, targeting one of the activists who has called for the mobilization of the diaspora.
In a long post, Rama published two photos, claiming that the protester who called on immigrants to come to the protest is the same person who built an unauthorized addition within the walls of Durrës Castle.
According to the prime minister, the building will be expropriated as part of the project to transform the historic area, while the protest against the government is being used to protect personal interests.
" This is exactly how the manipulation algorithm works on social networks ," Rama writes, claiming that a person who has violated the law is presenting himself as a defender of the public interest and civic causes.
The head of government goes even further, describing the protester as a "Democratic Party militant" and arguing that behind the rhetoric about protecting the environment and heritage, other interests are hidden.
Rama's reaction comes at a time when the protest has entered its third week and when the participation of the diaspora has been the most prominent element of today's rally. Hundreds of Albanians from various European countries joined the march in Tirana, while calls against the government and the political class have dominated the protest.
Faced with this mobilization, the prime minister has chosen to focus on the figures who are leading or supporting the protest, accusing them of manipulation and using public causes for private interests.

Kur shkroi jam patronazhisti më i gjatë ju përgjigja kjo është baras me thënien jam spiuni më i gjatë.
