A 49-year-old man has been arrested by police in Tirana after he was caught red-handed while attempting to rob an apartment in the Fraka area.
It is learned that the 49-year-old is the perpetrator of another theft in an apartment in the same area a few days ago.
"After receiving a report that a citizen had entered an apartment in Farka to steal, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1 immediately went to the given address. As a result of the quick and professional police actions, carried out within the framework of the "Zone" operation, the perpetrator, citizen LD(H.), 49 years old, resident of Tirana, was caught red-handed. The investigations revealed that he had stolen valuables from another apartment in Farka, on 19.07.2025," the police statement said.
