 Found hidden in the wall, weapons arsenal discovered in Vlora 

An arsenal of weapons and ammunition has been discovered by the Vlora Police, hidden behind a specially built wall in an abandoned building in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood.

During the search, two automatic firearms, over 2,200 rounds of ammunition, 12 defensive grenades without fuses and 14 grenade fuses were seized, which were wrapped and stored in an organized manner.

The weapons will be sent to the Institute of Scientific Police for examination, in order to clarify its possible involvement in criminal events. According to the Police, the building where the arsenal was found is owned by the 67-year-old with the initials Gj. K., who has been criminally prosecuted at large due to his age and health condition.

"2 automatic firearms, over 2,200 live ammunition and 12 defensive grenades were found hidden in the wall of a building and seized.

The firearms and ammunition will be sent to the Scientific Police Institute for examination.

The owner of the building is being processed in a vacant position due to his age.

The services of the Vlora Police Commissariat, following the checks to prevent and combat illegal activities, based on information provided by police intelligence, have carried out a search of an old uninhabited building, in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, Vlora, on the second floor of which they found several weapons and combat ammunition walled up.

As material evidence, the following were seized: 2 automatic firearms, 12 defensive grenades without fuses, 14 grenade fuses wrapped in paper, and approximately 2,200 live ammunition.

The weapons and ammunition will be sent to the Institute of Scientific Police for further examination, in order to determine whether they were used in criminal events.

"The verifications showed that the building where the weapons and ammunition were found is owned by citizen Gj. K., 67 years old, resident of the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, who, at the end of the procedural actions, was criminally prosecuted at large, due to his age and health condition," the police announced.
