A decomposed body was found in Kolonjë on Monday afternoon, near an electrical cabinet. According to the latest information, the body will be sent for forensic examination in Tirana, where DNA samples will be taken in order to reveal the identity of the victim, while an anthropological examination will also be carried out to determine the time of death.
From the preliminary examination of the body, the police have concluded that there are no external injuries, which rules out any possibility of a crime, reports TCH.
It is initially suspected that it may have been a natural death.
Regarding the discovery of the body, it is reported that it was a resident of the area who was harvesting wheat with a combine harvester and discovered it, immediately notifying the police.
After the forensic examination in Tirana, more details regarding the identification of the victim and the cause of death are expected to be revealed.
